Jim Ahmad is the founder of Inland Communities Corp. Mr. Ahmad began his professional career as a project manager for a leading homebuilder in Illinois. In that capacity he oversaw all phases of development, from land planning through build out. In the early 1990’s Mr. Ahmad’s work shifted to providing support services for Builders and Financial institutions. As a consultant, Mr. Ahmad was instrumental in assisting clients with identifying factors affecting development opportunities and land constraints. Since Inland Communities Corp.’s inception in 1993, Mr. Ahmad has been engaged in the acquisition and development of several thousand raw acres of land throughout the Southern California region, and, more recently, has been active in urban infill developments in Los Angeles. Under various entity names, Mr. Ahmad has also co-ventured the construction, marketing, and sales of several hundred homes in communities such as Redlands, Rancho Cucamonga, Monterey Hills, East Highlands, among many others.

Mr. Ahmad holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and earned his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from the University of Southern California in 1981.


Mohamad T. Younes, Sr. Vice-President

Mohamad T. Younes serves as Sr. Vice President of Inland Communities Corp. A registered professional engineer in California and Arizona, Mr. Younes has more than 31 years of diversified experience in the land development and public works arenas. Mr. Younes was formerly Associate Vice President and Civil Engineering Division Manager for the greater Southern California area at the national civil engineering firm PBS&J. Mr. Younes has acted as the Principal in Charge and manager on a variety of large master planned communities and land development projects.

Mr. Younes’ experience includes development of Specific Plans as well as water distribution and wastewater collection systems, roadway and highway design projects. Mr. Younes’ diverse experience also includes directing the preparation ofenvironmental impact reports, tentative tract maps, final tract and parcel maps, drainage plans, grading and street improvements for subdivision projects, and the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates for public works projects. Mr. Younes has served in many key positions, including chairman of the City of Riverside Design Review Board, President and State board member at Consulting Engineering and Land Surveyors of California among others.. Mr. Younes is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Building Industry Association. Mr. Younes is a former board member of the Building Industry Association, Riverside and Baldy View Chapters.

Mr. Younes received his Bachelors and Masters of Science Degrees in Civil Engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Lamia-Lauar-land-developmentLamia Lauar, IT & HR Director

Lamia Lauar has over 20 years’ experience in executive & general management. Ms. Lauar has been instrumental in spearheading the reorganization of several companies reducing operating costs, managing contract negotiations, and positively impacting the companies’ profitability.  Ms. Lauar was also a driving force behind several startups with additional responsibilities for the sales & management of primary accounts. She has extensive technical and Human Resources experience.

Ms. Lauar graduated with a B.Sc. degree in Electronic, Computer and Systems Engineering in 1993 and an M.Sc. degree in Digital Communication Systems in 1994 from Loughborough University of Technology in the UK. She has also completed business administration studies at UCLA.

Alex Anaya, Accountant and Bookkeeper

Alex Anaya has more than 10 years of bookkeeping experience in a broad range of environments. Ms. Anaya is in charge of accounting, bookkeeping and monthly bank reconciliations for the various Inland Communities entities. Ms, Anaya works closely with the President and CFO. Her responsibilities include reconciling consultant contract billings and releases. Ms. Anaya also prepares financial reports and investor distributions.

billBill Rattazzi, Executive VP of Building and COO

Bill Rattazzi joined Inland Communities Corp after over 40 years working around the world as a senior executive with hands on experience entitling, developing and constructing various types of properties including, high rise buildings; industrial plants, bridges, master planned communities, homes, and retail centers.   With a Civil Engineering undergraduate degree as well as a Masters in Business Administration, Bill is also holds a MIRM designation with the Institute of Residential Marketing , is a member of the Urban Land Institute, a Past President of the Los Angeles/Ventura Building Industry Association, a licensed General Contractor, and a member of Cabrillo Development Corporations development committee. Bill’s responsibilities include the inception and development of Inland Communities’ homebuilding entity, Invision Community Builders, LLC, which will operate under the Inland Communities Corporation banner moving forward.

Prior to joining Inland Communities, Bill served as the Chief Executive Officer of EmaarMGF, in India and Dubai, involved with the construction and development of various properties throughout the region. He was seconded to that position after serving as the Division President of the Los Angeles/Ventura regional offices for John Laing Homes subsequent to the purchase of John Laing by Emaar. Coming from both a strong building as well as development background, Bill was a principal with SunCal Companies, opening up the Los Angeles and Ventura marketplace presence for that organization in the late 90’s, after serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Dale Poe Development Corp, and before that, as a Senior Vice President with the Newhall Land and Farming Company.
